From the Academic Year 2011-12, Gujarat University has introduced Semester system with choice based credit system in line with the UGC guidelines and trend in the country.

This book of Accountancy - II for Semester-II includes four chapters according to the syllabi of Gujarat University. As teachers of Accountancy for about 25 years, we have experienced that the students face difficulty in examination due to lack of lucidity in language, clarity of subject matter and inadequate practice of solving the problems. The present book provides a comprehensive structure which includes simple language for theoretical discussion and point-wise explanation for practical problems. More emphasis is given on short practical questions that have more weightage in university examination as per guidelines of the university. At the end, a model question paper is given as per guidelines of Gujarat University for question paper to be asked in end semester university examination. The aim of the authors is to prepare the students for theoretical as well as practical problems with objective questions and MCQs.
