The Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2010 scam is a real shocker. Like 2G spectrum scam, it is one of the biggest scams India has witnessed in the recent past. The most galling aspect of this scam is that nobody in the Prime Minister`s Office (PMO), Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, and the Delhi Government`s Ministry of Finance cared to stop this scam. Neither could they lay hands on the prime accused who are still out of the CBI grip. The C&AG report has put the loss to the exchequer, caused by this scam, at several thousand crores of rupees.
