He engages the reader by presenting both the favorable and unfavorable aspects of the scientist’s personality. Isaacson shows us Einstein’s contradicting personality, on one side we see Einstein as un-orderly and rebellious, while on the other we see him convincing the world that everything in his universe has an order and that he will forever try to find that order.
