About Author :
P Dash Sharma, PhD is retired Professor of Anthropology Of The University of Ranchi. He served at the Office of the Registrar General of India, New Delhi, from 1965-70, and then as reserach associate in the Anthropological Survey of India, at the Southern Regional Centre at Mysore. He joined the department of anthropology at the University of Ranchi in the middle of 1972. He is the founder editor of the journal South Asian Anthropologist, which is being published as the official organ of Sarat Chandra Roy Institute of Anthroplogical studies.
