Job satisfaction is one of the most crucial and controversial issues of behavioural management in any organization which plays vital role in imparting quality education. It is dependent on gender, attitude, salary, security, management, experience, qualification, social status, promotion etc. Significant number of women teachers in secondary education are considered to be the result of gender development in education field and their importance has been recognized in the development of secondary education but their level of satisfaction is not given attention. The present study is an attempt to examine, compare and measure the degree of job satisfaction of women teachers. This book may help to draw the attention of management in improving the condition of women teachers. Last but not the least this study has tended more focus on women issues in a new arena.
