The author played a key role in the conservation of the architectural and artistic heritage of Travancore. This book is the product of his extensive study and research on Travancore inscriptions. There were many who offered their expertise in order to facilitate an improved understanding of the heritage of the state. He is perhaps a lesser known name amongst them. However, his contribution towards the field of archaeology remains matchless. This book is an academic list of hundreds of inscriptions found in the Region of Travancore (now a part of Kerala).
