This book attempts to advocate for health empowerment of women through selfcare by adopting patient centered care in OPD Settings. This is sought to be promoted as a desirable strategy in 21st century hospitals. The USP of the book is that it is an entirely indigenous product, i.e., based on the research project work of the students and faculty of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The book indicates that it is feasible to impart health promotion orientation in Gynecology, Orthopedics and Surgery OPDs through counselling of women without resorting to any medication.
