The one National-mascot that stands for and represents a country in the world arena is its National-flag. The Indian Tricolour pays homage to our National-flag, the symbol that gives India its uniqeu idenitity.

About Author :
Lt. Cdr. KV Singh (Retd) was a commissioned officer and was in the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) as a Deputy Collector and Magistrate before joining the services. he is widely travelled within the country and abroad.
He has authored four books (Quiz India, Our National Flag, Colourful World of Flags and Our Coins) and compiled two (An Insight into World Religions and Rites and Rituals of Hindus and Muslims of Undivided India) besides contributing articels, stories and poems to national dailis and other periodicals. He has also been an achor and participant in numerous television programmes.
