Sudhanshu Bhushan is presently working as Professor and the Head of the Department of Higher and Professional Educational Planning and Administration. He specializes in the policy and planning of higher education. He has conducted researches in the area of internationalization and financing of higher education. He has contributed papers in national and international journals. In the professional capacity Prof. Bhushan has been organizing workshops, conferences and raining programmes of the senior functionaries of the universities and colleges.
Prof. Bhushan earned his masters and the doctorate in Economics from Jawaha Lal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has completed his M Phil from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, Delhi. He has written a book on classical Economic Theory and edited two books, namely, Resources Mobilisation, Strategies and Policies in Educational Sector and State School and Community. His book on Restructuring Higher Education in India has been published from Rawat Publishers in 2009. He taught in the Patna University from 1983 to 2003. During this period has served as Additional Director, State Institute of Educational Management and Training (SIEMAT), Patna on deputation for period of three and a half year. ISBN - 9788189640989
