Swami Dayananda Saraswati was a great social reformer. H ewas an eminent leader of the Indian Renaissance, and a maker of modern India. With `God in his soul, vision in his eyes, and power in his hands,` he was a soldier of truth. Though much is found in print on Swami Dayananda and Arya Samaj, yet we do not have a full picture of the great ascetic and his great organisaation. The present book draws a beautiful portrait of the great Swami and his work in brief but bold strokes.
About Author :
Aurbindo Ghosh, the author of this book was great philosopher, yogi, patriot, educationist and writer. He lived at his ashram at Pondicherry. He wrote two brilliant essays on Swami Dayananda and his work which constitute this book.
Jagvir Singh, editor of the book is also an eminent social activist. He is a prolific writer. He is currently president of the Sarvadeshik Arya Yuvak Parishad, 7 Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
