Concerns for Physically Challenged Persons (PCP) with Disabilities is gaining importance all over the globe Inaction of Society and social stigma are jointly responsible for suffering of the Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Disables are the largest minority in the world. There are various aspects related to Disability which are to be seriously solved and provide equal social justice to this class. Various governments in the world feel very much concerned with the problem and thus have passed several legislations to protect, reform, the social-economic conditions of the persons with Disabilities. The apex body of the world viz. UN in its Universal Declaration of Human Rights has given a great emphasis for the protection of Rights of physical and mental health of people and has directed to all is members countries. United Nations has played a very important role in society’s change of concept towards the Disabled persons. UN has declared Year of the Disabled persons, UN Decade of Disabled Persons. Various women organizations of the world have stressed in their various conference for the betterment of women’s lot. Disables causes isolation of People from society. Social Stigma associated with Disability refrains people from leading a normal life. Employment is the most important factor which can lead disabled people into the main stay of life. Therefore the subjects related to Disabled like, Disability and Gender Dimensions-context of human rights issues, Disability Discrimination and Human Rights: a gender perspective, Disability and Human Rights, Employability of Disabled People, On Line migration Opportunity for differently abled IT professionals, Work Participation rates, Socio-Economic status of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Women-headed families etc. which are the topics of the present publication and have to be seriously dealt with, Merely passing of legislations and introducing various reforms for the betterment of the disabled population will not help unless the society does not share the responsibility along with the government. Parental support and assistance is also an integral part of all the programmes whose emotional and moral support will help the children from very early stage of disability.
