The composition of articles numbering eighteen in number have been selected very judiciously and all combined study the problem of Indian Economy and Human Resource Development and relevant aspects linked with the Indian Economy. The articles are well researched study papers and provide exclusive and comprehensive information in form of new theories, statistics, tables etc. These articles have national and international distribution and have been presented in seminars and workshops and have been acclaimed by the educational institutions and other clienteles connected the field. Theory of economic growth is mainly concerned with identifying the factors responsible for economic growth. Recently SEZs, have surfaced as one of the most important factor accelerating growth. SEZ came to the limelight in 1980, when China as a part of its reform story made SEZ integral part of its industrial policy. SEZs over the period of time in China became its engine of growth. China has established 400 SEZs, majority of it in coastal belt. The world took notice of this experiment and decided to initiate it. Iran, Jordan, Poland, Russia, Peru, Philippines, Kazakhstan and Ukraine followed the Chinese example. India has also joined the list of these countries in implementing the SEZ model for economic growth. The article fully covers the story of Chinese experience and SEZs in India starting from Export Processing Zones (EPZ) in India to SEZ Act, 2005, and its establishment in several Indian States.
