The protection and promotion of Human rights need a conducive and enabling environment, in particular appropriate regulation, and a well functioning institutional frameworks. All the actions the State should be on this solemn pledge and duty. Good governance Good governance and human rights are mutually interdependent for a progressive realization of an effective democratic state. Good governance cannot be achieved in isolation from human rights. The two concepts reinforce each and many of their core principles are common.
