A beautiful, hand- drawn deck of Indian tarot cards, The Sacred Indian Tarot combines the classicism of the Tarot with the aesthetic richness of Indian mythology. The book contains twenty - two (major arcanas) unique hand painted cards with images taken from a rich pantheon of Indian mythology. The cards of the Tarot consist of potent archetypes that are rooted in Medieval and Renaissance Europe. The symbols, forms and figures used to represent these archetypes have been taken from Indian epics and scriptures, and are rooted in the tenets of Hindu cosmic principles giving it a truly unique Indian perspective. The Sacred Indian Tarot deck is truly a collector`s item which can be used to gain a refreshing insight into love and relationships, finances, career planning and much. The book breaks new ground in Tarot divination making it a wonderful tool for self quest. My tryst with the Tarots begun around twenty years ago, when I was introduced to the Tarot by a famous psychic and Tarot reader way back in East Africa, where I lived in the early parts of my life. Drawn to the esoteric, my experience with the Tarot has been wonderfully positive, empowering me and helping me connect with the most essential parts of myself. Spiritually also the Tarot played a crucial part in selecting my path and over the years. I have regularly used the Tarot as a tool for exploration and divination and have done readings for a group of friends, who value my insights and look to me for a fresh understanding of a situation. Fascinated by Tarot symbology, I have explored various decks and found esoteric similarities in the symbols used in all decks. This inspired me to put together an Indian deck of cards replacing the traditional tarot archetypes with Indian images and symbols. The deck took me nearly two years to complete and has been a pure expression of my creativity. While making the deck I have come to completion within myself and I believe that this mosaic of Indian cards, created by upcoming Indian artists should be shared by a broader horizon of people. I am a member of various online Tarot forums, blogs and communities.
