Bhawana Somaaya has been a film critic for 30 years and has contributed columns to publications like The Hindu, The Hindustan Times, The Pioneer and The Sunday Observer.
She is the former editor of Screen and has authored nine books that include biographies of Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan. Lexicon is her tenth book and third on Bachchan after The Legend/99 and Bachchanalia/2009.
She is the editor of Ticketplease.com, the Film Expert with 92.7 Big Fm and on the Advisory Panel of Censor Board of Film Certificate.
Somaaya is currently working on three more books on cinema.
