In the contemporary history of India, a new chapter has been written through the
Indo-US nuclear deal, which has culminated after traversing a long diplomatic journey. Not only India’s isolation in the nuclear world has ended, the deal has heralded a new era of a resurgent India, which will become a major player in international affairs. The deal thus represents the maturation of India’s diplomacy.
