The present publication is the logical outcome of the Proceedings of University Grant Commission sponsored National Seminars "History and Archaeology of the Narmada Valley Problems and Perspectives" and "Narmada Valley Culture through the Ages-A Study in Distinct Identity" held at the C.P.
