It is a genere of the prose texts descriping the vedic rituals, associated with Atharvaveda. The book is a reproduction of an important historical work. The Gopatha Brahmana is associated with the Atharvaveda and divided into two Khandas (part) i. e. , Purvabhaga and Uttarabhaga. The Purvabhaga is devided into five prapathakas and 135 Khandikas and the Uttarabhaga is divided into Six prapathakas and 123 Khandikas. This Brahman is associated with both Shaunaka and Paippalada Shakha of the Atharvaveda.
