The Immortals Of Meluha (Marathi) is set in the mythological land of Meluha, an empire created by Lord Ram, considered to be near perfect. However, this idyllic kingdom begins to face several problems. The river Saraswati, which was their primary source of water, starts to dry up, and on top of this, they are faced with an attack from the East, led by the combined forces of the Nagas, and the Chandravanshis.
Daksha, the King of Meluha, sends convoys to Tibet, in order to gain the support of the tribes there. One of these tribes, the Gunas, is led by the valiant Shiva, and they subsequently relocate to Meluha. Soon, Shiva meets King Daksha, and his ostracised daughter, Sati, in Devagiri. Sati is shunned by all, owing to the sins she has committed in her previous life. Shiva, mesmerized, begins to court her, and despite being shunned initially, he wins her over. They decide to break the Vikarma rule and get married. Meanwhile, when Shiva becomes aware of the atrocities the Chandravanshis are waging on the people of Meluha, he declares war on them.
Shiva leads his army to Swadweep, the land of the Chandravanshis, and an enthralling battle breaks loose thereafter. The Immortals Of Meluha (Marathi) is available worldwide, and has been translated into twelve languages. The Shiva Trilogy has sold over two million copies since its launch in 2010, and the series remains one of the fastest selling trilogies in the history of Indian publishing.ISBN - 9789381626641
