The present edition has been thoroughly revised, updated and rewritten. Taking into consideration the changes in the University syllabi and suggestions received from various quarters the book has been completely recast and changed to such an extent that it presents entirely a new look, totally different from its previous editions. Every chapter of this has been strengthened by adding new material and pruning of old material wherever necessary. The diagrams have been completely redrawn and remade. Part Eight is on Income and Employment. It incorporates chapter on National Income Analysis, Classical Theory of Income and Employment, Keynesian theory of Income and Employment and Critical Appraisal of Keynesian theory. Part Nine shows the Concepts of Trade Cycles, Theory of Trade Cycles, Theory of Growth and Economic Planning.
