Capital market is the market for securities, where companies and governments can raise long-term funds. Selling stock and selling bonds are two ways to generate capital and long term funds. To derive profit from the current market we need to learn the basics of Security Analysis and having invested we should also learn Portfolio Management to ensure that our capital does not get eroded.
