Reviewers praised "Consumers" as the most current text in the field in the areas of technology and research, and it contains illustrative examples.Good teaching book, easy to read, with nice illustrations. However, it needs to be updated before all American students start believing that telephone is still very much a luxury good in central and Eastern Europe. (page 242) And that according to a data from 1987 (?!?!?) less than 1 percent of households in India have telephones. Hellooo!! It`s 2010!! And the copy I am reading was published in 2004!! Academic professionals can NOT afford such a big mistake. Well, at least not in Central-Eastern Europe or India¦ ISBN 9780071247092
