The present book is a product of intensive fieldwork conducted among the kuchbandiyas of Shahgarh area of Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The objective of the study is to focus socio-demographic, reproductive and child helath care practices among the denotified Kuchbandiyas of Shahgarh. They are previously known as criminal community and later as notified tribe or class. The authors highlight the socio-demographic, reproductive and child health care practices profile including poverty and living standard, environmental sanitation, sanitary habits and personal hygiene, fertility aspects, morbidity and mortality aspects, indigenous health practices, feeling practices and child immunization, utilizationo f health and family welfare service etc. The book contains thirteen chpaters in which approximate ten different aspects of Kuchbandiyas life have been covered.
