China and India, which are the focus of this study, both are resources-rich and high-consumption countries. However, their exclusively dependence on single domestic resource of energy, limited resources to exploit clean and efficient form "of energy have complicated the energy issue. Many policy-makers, strategists and scholars express significant concern over the implications of China`s growing energy-requirements with increased economic capability. The modern World realized the charisma of `ENERGY` with the invention of electricity in the 17th century. This was followed by the demands of industrial revolution and ever-expanding commercial production, resulting in many countries transiting from under-developed to semi-developed and to developed states. The present trend of development, is found more intrinsically factored on dependence with common and converging economic developing-parameters, is something unique, which might not have envisaged during early period of industrial revolution where the few states which developed, did more or less in subjective isolation. The interdependence among various countries primarily linked by the energy and its resources, have led to development of new matrix with elements of uncertainty, fear of discontinuity among the nations who wish to sustain their development and who wish to enter into the new bracket of developed nations. This book is highly useful for a general understanding of energy related issues and to understand the present energy-crisis in a holistic way. This may induce vibrant thoughts to the planners, researchers, policy-makers, administrators and investors, and the class of community-thinkers. India`s future energy-sector will need a multi-disciplinary attention and engagement of HR, where the future India`s young population will roll as lead-managers after Information Technology and make the country ready to roll on energy.
