This book is based upon the lecture notes on the faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Though stress analysis of chemical equipment is a recent introduction to the The unique feature of this book is that it is written using S.l. (System International) Units only. For those who are not quite familiar with SI units a chapter on units and conversion factors is included.
