Joseph Melillo taught conversational English in Japan for over 25 years to students who were willing to learn outside the English class. He compiled a notebook of American slang terms that he taught in those classes, which became the basis for this publication. After high school, he attended the School of Professional Arts in New York City. He developed a professional background in advertising design, illustrative techniques and cartooning. He also attended the University of Maryland where he obtained his bachelor of arts degree in government and politics. Joseph was born in Teora, Italy, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 11. His son, Edward M. Melillo, completely revised the notebook of American slang, and updated the book with many more contemporary slang terms. He attended UCLA where he received his bachelor of arts degree in economics, attended DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois for his juris doctor degree, and attended the University of Washington Law School under the LLM tax law program. He currently practices law in the State of Washington. ISBN: 8122309569
