Adventure in the Himalayas is a rare experience. The author has rendered a beautiful account of the remote highlands and snow-capped parts of Himachal, which caters to all kinds of travellers. Some rush in here to escape from the scorching sun and the maddening cacophony of the plains. Legends of places, temples, mountain passes, rivers and the like would be a matter of rare delight for the readers who have not been able to visit these difficult but enchanting areas.
