The Politico-religious history of India from the ancient to the modern times is of paramount importance not only to the people of India but the whole world. A.D.)highlighting the politico-religious history, the socond part details the beginning of Muslim rule in India and its downfall (1000 A.D. to 1748 A.D.). it also covers the establishment of Portuguese power at Goa, on the coast of Malabar. Part three of the book completely deals with the history of British India (1700 A.D. to 1880 A.D.). A supplementary chapter has been added which covers the period between 1879 A.D. and 1899 A.D.
