This work represents a very useful idea as a number of LLB students today have not had the opportunity of learning enough English to allow them to follow their curriculum rendered in English.
Dr. Kavita Surabhi, currently teaching Legal Hindi Language in Amity Law School, Amity University, Noida. A Ph.D in Hindi from Delhi University she is currently pursuing LL.B. Dr. Kavita Surabhi has published regularly on social and cultural matters.
Bar Council has introduced Hindi legal language as a compulsory Indian Language Paper. Many universities now include this as a compulsory paper as well as provide practical training for students in Hindi.
Also the Hindi Legal language (as used in drafts & legal documents) is very particular and distinct from the language as it is spoken. Students & young practioners find this tough and are uncomfortable.
