The New Economic Policy has been implamented in India since 1990-91. For the past 14 years, there are some macro economic policy measures like liberal;isation, privatisation and globalisation which have the positive and megative impact oont he Indian economy. Agriculture and small scale industries are the backbones of the rural India. In order to analyse the impact of New Economic Policy on the Indian economy, a National Level Seminar was organized in our Gandhigram Rural Institute.
