About Author :
Karma Lekshe Tsomo teaches in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Diego. She has a PhD in Comparative Philosophy from the University of Hawaii. She is the president of Sakyadhita: Internaitonal Association of Buddhist Women and Director of Jamyang Foundation, an initiative to provide educational opportunities for women in developing countries.
