About the Author S.K. Murthy obtained his Masters in Social Work from Nagpur University and worked in the field for ten years. In former years he worked as an undergraduate studies teacher and counsellor, psychologist and social worker. During the course of his career he served as president of the various associations engaged in Social Work, Counselling; editor of Measurement and Evaluation in Counselling and Development. He has also conducted research and written in the field of social work, child welfare and human rights. He has participated and presented his research papers in various conferences and seminars of repute.
