About the Authors: Mark Cerasale is Head of Value Engineering at SAP UK & Ireland, the world`s leading provider of e-business software solutions. Previously he was an IBM Business Consultant, helping clients to improve business performance through innovation, operational efficiency and customer loyalty. He was also responsible for managing IBM client relationships and providing some of the world`s most successful companies with IT-enabled solutions.

Merlin Stone is Business Research Leader with IBM`s Business Consulting Services division. He also runs the IBM Marketing Transformation Group and is a director of The Database Group Ltd, as well as QCi Ltd. Merlin is the IBM Professor of Relationship Marketing at Bristol Business School.
