Summary Of The Book
In this latest edition of R. D. Sharma’s mathematics text-book, Mathematics for Class X, revisions and changes have been made as per the latest guidelines of the syllabus issued by CBSE.
The new text is now expected to include detailed theoretical explanations with illustrations, brief summary of important topics, explanation of concepts as well as formulae, numerous examples - solved and unsolved, and an algorithmic approach to problems.
The definitions and concepts in Mathematics For Class X are explained in an easy manner, and the solutions for unsolved problems are given at the end of the book.
The entire book, in accordance with the syllabus, has been divided in to two systematic terms:
Term 1, which consists of Chapters 1 to 7 and Term 2, consisting of Chapters 8 to 16. Summative assessments at the end of each term and formative assessments at the end of each chapter are provided.
