˜FAQ`s in MFC and MFC Solutions` is intended for the audience who have just started learning MFC and desire to learn more of MFC internals. The purpose of the book is to change the way one thinks, which is more challenging than learning the syntax of a programming language. Learning when and why one should use a particular feature is much harder than learning its syntax. Teaching and learning how to combine features and why to combine them is still harder. This book is more application-oriented giving the reader a specific advice and directions at each step to help him/her properly use MFC by inducing object-oriented way of thinking.
About the Author
Dr. P. G. Naik is currently working as a Sr.Lecturer in department of computer studies at Chh.Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research, Kolhapur. Her academic credentials are distinctly different. She has completed M.Sc. in Physics with specialization in Solid State Physics and M.Sc. in Mathematics with topology and differential geometry as areas of specialization from Karntak University, Dharwad and secured a top rank in the university merit list. She has completed Ph.D.in ˜Some Electronic properties of Low Dimensional Semiconduing structures` under UGC major project for which she was awarded a fellowship. She has over 10 research papers in various international and national journals and symposia to her credit. She bears a varied and rich experience in the field of computer programming. Since last 15 years she has been associated with various graduation, Post Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate programmes in computer science as a teaching faculty. Currently, she is working in thrust areas of computer science such as web technologies, e-commerce and internet security, visual computing and computer component architecture. She has immense experience in guiding academic projects with computer aided tools. She has guided many industrial projects in project management, core banking solutions and e-Learning solutions. She has conducted and organized seminars and workshops on various cutting-edge technologies in computer science at university level.
