Environmental Studies is designed to meet the requirements of a compulsory undergraduate course on environmental studies, as mandated by JNTU, Kakinada. Mirroring the university�s objective, this book endeavours to generate awareness about environmental concerns among students. The content has been developed so that students from all disciplines�from physics to philosophy�can comprehend it without difficulty.
The book introduces the reader to the perils facing the environment and the importance of environmental resources for human sustenance.
