Transits, or Gochara, are here tied to both the operating dasha of the rasi chart, as well as to the various divisional charts. Experiences promised by the natal chart, timed to the operative dasha (various levels) are delivered, for good or ill, by means of transits in effect at any given moment. Eg, Transits are the Celestial Delivery Boy. As dashas are determined by the natal moon, transits must be read with reference to the Chandra Lagna, or moon sign. Mantreshwara`s Phaladeepika is a principle reference work cited in this book.
