The 29th edition of `Universities Handbook` is a compendium that latest information on 273 university-level institutions, including 52 `Deemed Universities` in India. Of these, 162 are traditional universities including 34 institutions for specialised studies in disciplines covered by traditional universities, 40 agricultural, 33 technical, 3 information technology, 1 journalism, 6 law, 18 medical and 10 open universities.
